What I am up to these 2 weeks...

some people are asking me what I have been doing since I am starting work only next week... Here is what I have been working on - doing a "makeover" for the CRuSH Cyber Wellness Centre... doing some permanent displays and seasonal (sports theme) decorations for my spiritual father yc & CRuSH team. been kindda busy...

but i got to know more abt what YC is doing and get to know some boys who frequent the place... was nice to interact with the end-users and know what younger generations are into nowadays... im really not the gaming sort... but i think i nd to really brush up on some skills to connect & mentor the next generation (sounds old, like already have generation gap)...

would write more when I have time. gotta sleep now if not tmrw i would not be able to wake up. :p training my bioclock up for work

the baby girl (Gracia) of a very dear sister of mine Lindee is born today!!!!!! Both mum & child healthy!

SO SO HAPPY FOR HER & Johnson!!! CONGRATES LINDEE!!!

believe God has answered our prayers for lindee & gracia as I was talking to my colleague in bs, she said she spent 20 hours to give birth to her son.... WOW.... 20 hrs... amazing...

God has definitely bless her delivery short & smooth compare to my colleague's experience...

Ba4 zhang3 & kimchi

counting down to the no. of days that I can go back to Taiwan...
I've always missed my grandma's homemade ba4 zhang3 (chinese duan1 wu3 jie2 glutinous rice dumpling (hokkien style))... it has a flavor that no other shop's ba4 zhang3 can replace...

this is a belated post, Ms Yeo was very sweet & thotful to give me a ba4 zhang3 that her mum made, it's nice... my 1st ba4 zhang3 for the year 2006. I had 1 fr her last yr as well... she was really thotful to remember tt im away fr home and do not have the luxury of eating this... it's yummy with all the ingredients for hokkien dumpling, but sadly it just does not have the touch of my grandma... sob...

maybe this trip back, shld get my grandma to impart me her skill of making this... know it's real troublesome to make and not easy to make it well... but, i'll try i guess, to make it a common fond memory with my grandma and not to lose such a precious family dish.

had been watching Da4 Chang2 Jin1... and once at dinner recently, Lydia let me try the kimchi she made... WOW... it's like 惊为天人！ it's very nice...and i made her tell me the recipe so i can try making... therefore, she became my shi1 fu4....

so here it is, my first try!!! with the help of one of my gals - Yanxia who's real gifted in cooking... we shared many common interest in cooking...

though i did get a few things cut in the wrong size and soaked for wrong timing, it still turned out pretty okay! hahaha

Yiling's hair's really funky... and Raymond finally got his wish fulfilled, with the pageboy coming down the aisle in white feather wings... he sang as Yiling came down the aisle...

recently, i've attended quite a few weddings of good friends... i think 4 weddings in 3 mths... sometimes i wish i've started working... really happy for these frens as God leads them into marriage... :)

as i shared lindee's joy in seeing her tummy getting bigger & bigger day by day, im so excited too, that Gracia's coming soon!!! even more glad to hear that a gd fren is also pregnant!!! wow...

one of my dreams is to become a joyful mum of spiritual & physical children... i love children esply babies haha!!! but of course the greatest satisfaction is to see your children grown up to be men & women of God...

it's such an exciting journey to grow to become a mum & bring up many children in the ways of the Lord... but knowing that it's NOT an easy task to give birth/ bring up children... Saw Kengwah's wife's photo immediately after her child birth... giving birth is REALLY NO small business... I believe spiritual birth's the same as well... thk God it's God's Spirit who convicts... we have to labor in love still...

well i guess for now my prayer is that God'll help me to become ready... first bearing spiritual children, later in His timing, physical ones!

Ingredients of Portugese Dessert:
- Rice
- Milk
- Cinnamon (stick & powder)
- orange peel
- optional: Raisin & chocolate chips

Goes well with coffee/tea!






could be served in small cups or in ball size, could be served hot or chilled...

the dish is specially done & decorated by Hu Wei... isn't it beautiful? :) Like some cafe serving...The darker ones are actually rolled with chocolate chips...
