archi technology workshop by tony hunt & joseph lim

these were what i had been busying with for the past 3 weeks in nus...

the design of a structurally sound "habitable bridge" has gone thru' dramatic and major transformations over the 3-week period... :p

mind you, the bridge spans 1.2 meters and could take the weight of a NEC projector!
the model is made to 1:100 scale.

thk God for my groupmates: joyce, eunice and ju-lin... everyone has put in alot alot of hardwork and sleepless nites... & the studiomates who came down for last lap help :) tt thou it was tough esply thru' the last few days of it, we pulled it through with God's grace!!!

everyone gasped for air when joseph (tutor overseeing tech workshop) decided to put not just a brick or 2, but WHOLE THE projector on top of it... :p though we all know tt probly a normal bridge may not experience such kind of loading, but im glad tt it did not buckle at all! yeah~~ :)

oh, and this is a very interesting bridge tt was shared with us, built in China by a group of students...won archi awards internationally. one of its kind. its chinese name means "never ending bridge".
